Our Black Angus Beef herd consist of 100% pure US black angus selectively bred over generations to ensure best-in-class flavor, tenderness and marbling. The grain-fed cattle are independently graded by the USDA for reliability and consistency in meat quality.
Shortplate Shabu Shabu, which comes from the cow's belly, is a generously marbled and affordable cut extremely popular for hotpot and similar dishes using thinly sliced beef (e.g. Sukiyaki, Gyudons).
Grade: USDA Choice is the second highest grade with a marbling score (MS) of 2-3.
Cooking Tips: Cook in hot boiling broth for 20-30 seconds until meat is no longer pink, be careful not to overcook it. A 200-300g portion would feed 1-2 person.
Storage Tips: Item is delivered frozen in vaccum / sealed packaging. When kept in original packaging, stays fresh in chiller for at least 3 days from delivery date. If you do not intend to consumer it within three days, please keep it in the freezer immediately upon delivery.
